Since last year there were several times when I visited 19th Tee, I saw a chinese couple (cantonese speaking; in 50s maybe). Everytime I walked by them, I could hear them speaking loudly in cantonese with lots of swearing words in between (unneccessarily).

I am totally not against chatting at the range or speaking in chinese. I would do the same myself sometimes. But it is the loud swearing words that really annoy me. It makes me very uncomfortable and upset, even though they were not swearing at me (hopefully).

19th Tee is my favourite range in Ottawa. Surely hope my visits can be more pleasent :)

A good reminder to everybody - golfing is a fun and "gentleman's" game! (sorry ladies no offense to you as my "gentleman's club" certainly includes "gentle-ladies"; oo...ps! want to simplify here and ended up with a messy explanation.)

I used to say some bad words after maiking a terrible shot. My playing buddies instituted a rule of "one stroke penalty for any bad or swearing words". This was quite effective as I became a much better golfer and the game is definitely more fun ever since.

Happy golfing everybody!
