Though it's labelled as a back to school sale, it's actually an offer open to anyone. The price is certainly right for the features, especially if you consider that 6GB of data is going for $30 a month by itself at other carriers. The price is so aggressive that Wind is actually only offering this promotional price for a year before it goes back to the regular $45 per month price.
There's no contract required either and if you need a phone to go with the plan you can sign up for their WINDtab or WINDtab+ program where you can get a subsidized phone upfront and pay it off over time as it automatically puts 10% of your monthly bill towards the amount on your tab. You then have 3 years to pay off the tab in full either with the monthly plan or as a lump sum. If you choose the WINDtab+ you can get a LG Optimus 2X or Samsung Nexus S for $95 or $99 respectively and shipping is free when you order online.
