HP announced yesterday that it was no longer going to build WebOS devices like the HP Touchpad tablet and now the prices of the Touchpad drop to clear out all remaining units. The price drop happened sometime late this afternoon at the major retailers that carry it including Best Buy, Future Shop, Staples, Costco, The Source, and London Drugs. Many, many locations and their online stores are already sold out but since it just happened on Friday, there may be some remaining stock in stores as they completely roll out this clearance pricing.
