Executive Golf Club Championships

September 17, 24 & October 1, 2011
The EG Club Championship is a three-round stroke-play event with a cut after round two. This event is for members of all calibres: just pick the appropriate division, register and give it your best shot!
2011 Divisions: Click "Players" for roster
A Division 83 or less scoring average / 7.9 or less HCP factor
Ladies A 87 or less scoring average / 12.9 or less HCP factor
Senior Division 50 years of age or over on September 25, 2010
Super Senior 65 years of age or over on September 25, 2010
B Division 84-91 scoring average / 8.0 to 14.9 HCP factor
Ladies B 88-96 scoring average / 13.0 to 20.9 HCP factor
C Division 92-99 scoring average / 15.0 to 20.9 HCP factor
Ladies C 97+ scoring average / 21.0 or higher HCP factor
D Division 100+ scoring average / 21.0 or higher HCP factor
Junior Boys 18 years of age or under as of round #1
Junior Girls 18 years of age or under as of round #1
* Please Note: If your scoring average and handicap factor fall into two different classes, you must play in the higher/better class.

Round 1: Sat., Sept. 17 @ Lombard Glen - 8am crossover
Round 2: Sat. Sept. 24 @ Kingsway - 8am crossover
Round 3: Sat., Oct. 1 @ Canadian - noon shotgun
Overview
Club Champions are crowned in all divisions, and the winners receive a complimentary full Executive Golf membership for the subsequent season.
Tournament Format
Stroke play with a cut after Round #2 (those who miss the cut still play on October 1 as part of the EG Wind-Up
Golf Canada (RCGA) Rules of Golf except for EG local rules
No official handicaps required, but EG Members are encouraged to sign up for a Golf Canada membership which not only provides golfers with an official handicap, but also allows them to play in some sanctioned events.
Additional features and benefits of a Golf Canada membership:
Access to the Golf Canada golfer and golf course database
Access to contact information for fellow EG members
Ability to check other members' scores and handicaps
Optional hole-by-hole score entry to track detailed statistics
Official Golf Canada handicap card
Fully bilingual resources

Double Divisions
You can sign up for two divisions if you want. You must play the further back tees of the two divisions and after round two, if you make the cut in both divisions, you will automatically continue in the 1st division that you chose at registration.
Cutlines After Round #2
The number of players that proceed to round #3 will be determined after registration has closed (approximately one week prior to the event)
Players who miss the cut still get to play on Saturday as part of the EG Wind-Up
Eligibility & Entry Fees
Open to all full EG Members (including weekday)
Non members can purchase a membership for 2012, and the remainder of 2011. Email andy@executivegolf.ca for details.
Players may compete in a higher-class division if they think they can shoot better than their current scoring average/handicap factor
$135 + HST total for three rounds (you get to play all three rounds, even if you miss the cut)
Round #3 includes powercart and dinner
Range balls are included for round #TBA, #TBA and #TBA
