[问题]how to get new visa

i am a student in oac, i will pobably go to university this september. my visa is end in this novenber. i want to renew my visa before i come back to china this summer holiday. can u tell me what documents do i need for renewing my visa. how much money do i need keep in a canadian bank? somebody told me at least $7000. is it ture? how long will renew procession last? any suggestion is appreciated

According to my experience, the bank will mail you a new visa card before the expiration date.

Do you really misundertand him or just have fun of him?
He means the Visa in passport.

For Song shijie:
If you don't have any scholarship or assistantship, the money to be kept in the bank depends on the tuitions and fees and living expense.

At this moment, It is hardly possible for you to extend your visa without going back to China first since to can't enter the U.S. now and even you can, there will be a big risk for you to come back.
