Prices are valid on flights booked by September 13 with travel to be completed by December 15 for US and international destinations and March 7, 2012 for Canadian destinations (blackout dates apply). Here's a look at some of the fares being offered (fares listed are one way and do not include taxes or fees):

• Edmonton to San Diego: $139
• Saskatoon to Calgary: $95
• Winnipeg to Vancouver: $139
• Ottawa to Cancun: $139

• Toronto to Ottawa: $39

Plus, unlike many other airlines, WestJet is still offering a first-bag free policy on checked baggage. To qualify, your one free bag must weigh no more than 23kg (50lb) and have a maximum size of no more than 157cm (62").
