Mayor asks candidates to answer five key questions

OTTAWA - Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson has sent to provincial election candidates a questionnaire asking for their personal views and party’s positions on five issues “that our city feels are of importance to the future of the Ottawa.” The questionnaires were sent on Sunday, and ask Ottawa-area candidates for their opinions on provincial funding for a plan designed to prevent sewage from entering the Ottawa River, for affordable housing and for the city’s planned light-rail project.
