问个关于疫苗的事情

安省接种疫苗rotarx是咋回事呀，为啥诊所说没有这种疫苗，要改用疫苗rotateq,而后一种疫苗必须自费。有没有妈妈清楚这事的。宝宝快5个月了。好像说这疫苗要在5个月内接种。可是疫苗手册上没有呀，大家都怎么做的。问了保险公司，居然疫苗不包。

rotavirus vaccine has been offered as a new free vaccine by the Goverment of Ontario since Auguest 2011.
it provides protection for young babies from getting the rotavirus infection which causes severe vomitting, diahherea and dehydration. the best time to give is at age of 2 months and 4 months. the lastest age to receive the first oral dose is at the age of 20 wks and complete the second dose at 24 wks.
many physicans run out of the vaccine, that's why your doctor may suggest you to purchase it on your own if you really want to give your baby the vaccine.

since this is the a fairly new immunization schedule, your baby's immunization record(the yellow sheet) does not have it.

谢谢楼上，解释的真清楚。今天特地约了家庭医生，以及打电话去public health,2次疫苗分别在2个月和4个月，最迟可以在20周和24周用。考虑到宝宝已经21周了，建议不必打了。看来只能小心一些了。今年的疫苗手册有不少变动，提醒妈妈们注意一下。
