We bought the brand new piano in May 2005 for my son when he was 5, but he didn't play much after the 1st year, then we left home Ottawa for the States. Now we returned for moving away. I just called the store, Ottawa Pianos, to double check if I still in the 10 years warranty. The answer is that I do have it because I got the brand new one there, and the warranty is transferable.
The piano offers features including superior sound, heavy-duty casters, and elegantly detailed cabinetry in a choice of beautiful finishes. All Crucial components are made by Yamaha in Japan.
The design and major parts including vacuum-cast V-Pro iron frames, copper-wound strings for superb bass tones, and lathe-cut nickel-plated tuning pins are produced by Yamaha Japan.
This piano has been specially seasoned to "super dry" specifications by the manufacturer. The seasoning of the components is expressly created for Yamaha Pianos to sold in the North American market.
