On every year's tax return, they can report this 'self-employed' small business as part of the general income-tax return - if applicable, they can also file a separate Business Activity & Professional
Services form.
As one of the general income-tax return schedules, there is one form for them to calculate CPP contribution for small business, which shall be reflected to their final return's 'balance/refund' amount.
