Planning on getting away this season? VIA Rail just launched a fall seat sale where you can save 50% off the adult regular fare in economy and sleeper classes. If you want to travel in style, the 50% discount is also applicable on business fares for Saturday and Sunday travel. The sale is running until 11:59PM on October 19 and is applicable on travel that takes place before January 31, 2012.
To take advantage of these discounted fares, your tickets must be purchased at least three days prior to departure. Unfortunately, this discount can't be applied towards travel that takes place between December 15 and January 5. Seats at these rates are limited, can not be combined with any other offer, and no additional discounts will be given to seniors, youth or students. Children aged 2-11 can receive a 50% discount on the discounted adult economy class fare.
