OTTAWA — Two dozen firefighters and seven trucks responded to a fire at 110 Lavergne St. at 2 p.m. Sunday. They were able to get the fire under control in about half an hour, keeping it from spreading beyond the garage. Nobody was hurt. Damage was roughly estimated at $20,000 for the building and $10,000 for contents. The cause has not yet been determined.
