It is funny that you ask such questions - just a good-intentioned advice.

You must have some ideas on the stock and just can't overcome the fear to make the commitment or the greed to give it up.

Therefore, you try to find some comforts from this site. How can you trust your money to people you don't even know ?

Go download the annual report of the company and go through it. That is the best way.

If you can't read the reports, well, maybe spend the money on some nice cookies or other treats ....

Making money from stock market, especially in short term, is very difficult ...

I do echo lazycat's comment.

Even i am a chart believer, I often apply TA on index, big cap stocks, and those mid-cap stock often respect the chart. FA is crucial to those small cap stocks.
