The lease to the city’s minor-league baseball stadium is going up for bids now that city council has approved a plan that it hopes will lead to a double-A team taking it over. The Ottawa Stadium on Coventry Road was built by the city for the triple-A Ottawa Lynx in 1993, but it’s been used for much lower-level ball since that team left town before the 2008 season.
