Police probe report of assault on boy, 4, at Kanata wave pool

Ottawa police are investigating a possible sex assault on a four-year-old boy at the Kanata Leisure Centre and Wave Pool early Wednesday evening. Det. Steve Cashen of the child abuse/sexual assault unit said the boy told his parents that a stranger touched him. The boy’s parents then called police, who headed out to the leisure centre at 70 Aird Place at about 6:15 p.m.
