When Doug Miess and Roy Murrant retired from Nortel, they were looking for some worthwhile volunteer activity. They found it in the Nortel Community Volunteers, an organization with a history of helping the special-needs community, CNIB, CHEO, and the two special-needs schools in Ottawa.
