‘Optimization’ blamed for problems on bus Route 5

Frustrations with frequently late buses that started after the city’s early September route changes are partially to blame for rising tensions on at least one OC Transpo route, a passenger involved in one such incident says. The situation boiled over Monday when a Route 5 driver left about 15 passengers aboard a bus on the Mackenzie King Bridge. He walked away after Henry McCambridge, who had just gotten on, confronted him about why the bus was 45 minutes late.
