有家庭医生能去看walk in吗？

孩子有家庭医生。问题是挺着急的，最快只能约到下周了。
我能带她去walk in 吗？

我家孩子如果生病，情况紧急，一般是直接去CHEO了。

主要因为我把孩子从儿医那里转到我家庭医生那里的时候，家庭医生说我不能再回儿医那里看病了。

啊~~~ 我一直以为儿科医生是专业医生呢。 原来也只是普通医生，只看小孩！

我的就不行。以前有过个家庭医生，但是她又很忙，每次约都好几天。后来去walk in，结果人家给我一封信，说我不能再去看walk in，否则就罚款。

我一怒之下就退了她了，从此有病就walk in，也不用被约束。

我估计政策不同，你问问清楚。

call your docotor's office, explain what has happened, your concern, and ask if you can make an emergency visit (at your doctor's office, not in hospital) at the earliest convient time of the doctor. if the doctor is not fully booked, and your child's condition needs immediate attention, you may see him/her the same day or the following day. however, it depends on how busy the doctor is and how ergent is your child's medical condition.
use your judegement on whether to visit the emergency room of CHEO or see your family doctor in one or two day. Hope it helps.
