Gatineau police interviewed 3,000 people and received more than 100 new tips in the Valerie Leblanc homicide investigation after they canvassed in the Mont-Bleu area this week. Leblanc, 18, was found beaten and burned in a wooded area behind the CEGEP de l’Outaouais Gabrielle-Roy campus on Aug 23. An autopsy revealed that she had died from head injuries.
