儿子这个学期sublease了一个房间。这个房子原来是5个人合租的。结果儿子搬进去才发现,这个房子只有他和另外一个人住,别人都搬走了。现在的问题是,Utilities的费用很高,1月份竟然有$1000, 2-4月每个月 $300多。儿子每个月的房租才$425。当初说的是Utilities大家share费用。问大概的费用,说只有50多。现在,另外一个人被自动扣钱,已经付了所有费用。他让我儿子付一半给他。
儿子第一次租房,没经验。想问下大家:我儿子有责任付一半的Utilities吗?
刚查了一下儿子的sublease,里面只提到了每月付425的房租。但有下面的条款:
The Sub-tenant and Tenant agree that all the terms and conditions existing in the
aforementioned Tenant/Landlord Agreement shall govern the relationship between the
Tenant and the Sub-tenant, and
c) The Tenant and the Sub-tenant agree that the Sub-tenant shall be bound by all of the
terms and conditions in the aforementioned Tenant/Landlord Agreement.

Each Tenant agrees to pay the Landlord on a monthly basis his/her share of the rate of $ 2,125.00 per month
