关于 brake service

我的车去作两万公里的保养，dealer建议作brake service，目的是延长brake的寿命。记得以前我的另一辆车到了一定公里数去做保养时dealer也建议过作brake service，但我没有做，主要是考虑收费比较高，而且听他们描述似乎并没有做什么特别的维护，就是打磨一下刹车盘什么的。这次这辆刚开了两万公里的车又遇到建议作brake service，不知道有没有内行人解释一下是否真的有必要做这个brake service呢？如果不做的话损害大不大？先谢过！

如果是打磨一下刹车盘的话，dealer在想法子多干活收钱。刹车盘到时间后直接换新的就行了。不要浪费开支

前后轮dealer给我报价税后两百多。

又不是非得去dealer，隨便哪里都能做，多問幾家就能找到便宜的了。

感谢你的数个回帖。车比较新，所以考虑在低公里数时保养全找dealer做，其它小店就算了。综合大家的意见，决定这个brake service不做了。dealer告诉我我的车的刹车一般到4.5万公里时需要换，所以准备再开两万公里左右直接换新刹车了。

Brake service and changing are 2 different items.
Brake service will clean parts of brake system to ensure their functioning properly.
It's wiser to do some services(cleaning and checking) before actual changing of the parts. We don't want to the problem when it's too late.
For someone suggesting opening up and clean youself, if anything happens, and insurance knows you are not licensed to take away brake parts. They won't pay a cent on any brake-related claims.
My 2 cents.

I had gone to Midas. The Midas only charged me $40+tax for front brake service.
Good Quality. my dealer ask for $125.
I think brake service is important for extending the life of your brake.
