The big question:

The big question is, how much money was wasted by the liberals in the past and what does the liberals have to offer for the future?

The small if:

if the conservatives could manage to balance the books shortly after the monstrous spendings during the global financial crisis,

This if is a must because that's what we are going to see in the future.

The facts:

the monstrous spendings during the global financial crisis, in the midst of all the tax cuttings and proposed hike of spendings on military (fighter jets), senior benefits, and the tough-on-crime agenda,
