As far as my memory goes, Menhroni was not found guilty at the end of the public inquiry, which btw was about the charge on half a million rather than several millions in question. Or, I am too old to have a memory of integrity?

That is also what the Harper government wanted non confidence vote and everybody goes to the poll. Then they can try to get a majority government so they won't have to worry about confidence vote or not.
