I was puzzled by the conservative strategies getting into this election:
1) Talking about the coalition not as a political choice but as an illegitimate evil;
2) Putting forth the one-on-one debate stuff but withdrawing it quietly soon after;
3) Making election promises that can be cashed in by the electorates only years after the election, and even worse, with lots of ifs attached;
4) Preventing the journalists from asking the Prime Minister the sixth question;
5) Decorating with Karate kids the background behind the Prime Minister in a major policy announcement event in the capital;
6) Sending good-mannered people who seem not be able to engage in neither their opponents nor the audience (camera) to political talk shows.
At one point of time, I was asking myself, what's going on there?
And yet, all the polling numbers show that the conservatives are winning, very day. So the question becomes, is the conservatives campaign under the direction of a real genius or what?
What's your opinion?
