Which types of content can be shown on my Smart TV if I use 'Smart Share'?

For video content, asf, wmv, wma, divx, avi, mp4, m4a, m4v, mkv, ts, trp,tp,vob, mpg, mpeg, mpe type of content will be worked.
For photo & image content, it will work with Progressive JPEG (up to 1920x1440) and Normal JPEG (64x64 to 15360x8640).
For music files, the content with bit rate from 32 to 320 Kbps, and MP3 G1 and G2 sampling rate will be worked.

well, if 迅雷 create an app for LG, samsung, sony etc...smart TVs

well if we can download software and install it in the TV, then no need for HTPC at all I guess

倒是不见得。

迅雷是p2p的，smart tv的硬件能不能handle那么多open connection本身就是个问题。

你上面列举的是文件格式，但是并没有列举所有的压缩方式。很多文件格式仅仅是个包装，里面的压缩方式各式各样。比方说h.264刚出来的时候市面上所有的box都不支持。等出新的Firmware的时候黄花菜都凉了。
电视一年一个model, 不会出那么多firmware给你支持各种五花八门的压缩方式的，更不要说什么中文支持，字母支持了（尤其中文字幕）。

何况smart tv再强大也无非是add-on service, 再怎么做也不如一个专门干这个事情的box.

当然没问题，hdmi输出就成

不过我一般建议htpc搞个能多几个硬盘的，省得买NAS了，直接往里存
