Please Help: Adobe Reader

Our internet provider is Bell and their security system is now with McAfee. This morning I got a message from McAfee that a new Adobe Reader update should be installed. I did but now I could not read any PDF file. The PDF files would just opened and disappeared. I tried different configuration but still could not open PDF files. Please help.

It was the problem after I upgraded to the latest version, Adobe Reader XI. I uninstalled and installed back to the previous version and still have some problem. Open and disappear.

Uninstall Acrobat Reader, reboot your PC, then reinstall it. It happened to me once, and I had no idea what was wrong with it.

Remember to reboot your PC after uninstallation.

村长, I did everything you have suggested. I even uninstalled the latest version and reinstalled the previous version (was working perfectly fine before the upgrade) and still have the same problem. I reboot each time I uninstall and install.

You said it happened to you once, what did you do to get it working again? Thank you very much for all your responses.

我觉得那个告诉你该升级Adobe reader的东西很可疑。一般来说Mcafee好像不大会提醒你升级第三方公司的产品。Adobe自己的updater倒是会。如果Mcafee跟你说要升级reader就比较可疑
