看到家都说明年政府大规模裁员什么的，心理直打鼓。LG上个月刚被Health Canada 招进去，是不是也有可能被裁阿 :blowzy:
好不容易进的政府哦，15个月=笔试+面试+面试+漫长等待

既然现在能让你进去就没事。可招可不着的早就给冻结了。

关键看合同到期是否会续签，暂时不会被裁。如果你一进去就是PERM，那么就放心好了

但是BUDGET都是明年二月份才公布的，如果你LD那个部门需要裁人，先动的就是TERM, CONTRACT和新招进去在试用期的。因为这些人都不用给什么说法就可以让你走的。你LD如果还在试用期，比那些长期工风险大。

不要怕。每年四十億，大該就是四萬人（一人十萬算）。平均每年一萬。
聯邦有大約三十萬人，三萬為非永久，一萬多為臨時工。每年退休有八千。所以，裁員風險還可以。
加國GDP是1。7萬億，赤字才3％左右。巴老說3％的赤字正常。
所以不要怕。油價是加的根本。如此價跌50元，那才有問題。

You are scaring LZ and ruining her weekend.

It is NOT true that new permanent employees are hired to be laid off and to protect the other folks. There is no such scheme and no one DARES to do like that !

LZ shall read all guidelines regarding collective bargaining and guidelines from Treasury Board.

Your HS is in probation period and won't have the 4 months + 1 year protection while in probation. However, he can't be laid off for course without a very elaborate process. To be laid off as work force reduction, it is generally not on individual basis but on program basis. This again can be found in Treasury Board guidelines.

So, enjoy the weekend and try to do the study yourself. Most people on CFC are nice. But you always expect a bunch that don't draw the line of joking and serious business ...

是去Kanata那地儿工作吗？感觉HC IT部门搬到Kanata后人员流失得厉害，连Director们都跑了。
