小心,语言冲突违法,警察可以逮捕你!

食品、药品、内衣本来就不应该退,明摆着就是胡搅蛮缠!严重鄙视!

还有季节性产品,鲜花过了情人节,月饼过了中秋,巧克力过了圣诞节。过了季你还去退,还问在哪儿写着?这是常识!什么人!
 
装疯卖傻想占点便宜,结果自惹其辱。还厚颜无耻问人权何在,你侵犯别人的人权,就剥夺你的人权!
 
夏女士要是还是心里不舒服, 可以做:

冯姓法律人士说,夏女士唯一可做的就是可以投诉警察在执法过程中有没有行动粗暴。比如警察在逮捕时一般会命令:请把手放到后面去,我要逮捕你。具有黑色幽默色彩的是,一般警察还会问你手铐舒服吗?

向消费者协会投诉, 说明商家混淆事实的地方, 至少会让消费者觉得这个商家有不近人情和模糊误导的地方。还有就是检讨一下自己的问题好了。

如果警察真的有违背程序的地方, 那夏女士就赚到了, 申请医疗服务来治愈精神损失。 只要有人指责你就继续看病, 反正是税钱。不用心里想不开, 民主人权社会就这点好, 别人指责你也会考虑自己钱包的。

这方面的教训其实已经不少了。以前曾经有位中国老人,因为对雇主解雇自己不满,情绪失控地躺在地上大哭大闹。结果雇主叫来警察,二话不说就将其扔进了精神病院。在国内,老人属于“弱势群体”,遇到事情往地上一躺,往往别人就没辙了。可在加拿大,弱势也得讲理。一时的行为过激,不仅害老人吃了不少苦头,还得面临精神病院几千元的账单。

你可以表达愤怒,但不能愤怒地表达。据理力争本没错,但要尽量心平气和,避免情绪化,这是我们在加拿大处理冲突时的重要准则。

在加拿大,商家虽然说“顾客就是上帝”,你是“金主”不假,我会对你笑脸相迎,但在我店里你也得守我店里的规矩。顾客和商家一旦出现矛盾,商家能解决的尽量解决;如果解决不了,对方一般不会牺牲经济利益或者个人尊严去迁就顾客的要求。 夏女士认为自己有权利退巧克力,于是理直气壮地想要个说法。可无论是店员,还是经理、保安,直至警察出面,事情虽然越闹越大,却并没有达到预期的效果,最终吃亏的还是夏女士自己。


加拿大其实是个比较讲原则的社会,商家也是一样。按规定该给你的,你不争自然也会给你;他们认为不该给你的,你再怎么“磨”,再怎么“较劲”,也很难改变最终结果。

在“巧克力事件”中,商家报警是由于夏女士不肯离开,妨碍了对方做生意。警察毕竟不是法官,他们接报后,主要任务是促使夏女士离开,恢复商场正常秩序,而不是判断谁是谁非。夏女士当时所能做的,就是立即无条件离开商场。如果对商家服务不满,也只能在事后再向相关部门投诉了。

说实话,我倒为夏女士感到庆幸。在警察铐她的时候,幸好她没有反抗。否则她境况会比现在惨得多

Depends on who you are. I have worked in retails for 2 years and we always had to give in to customers who yelled or swore at us. As I am Asian, I was the one who got yelled at all the time by customers. I was on the receiving end of racist slurs at least once every other day.

If 夏女士 were white, I am sure that she would not have needed to yell because the shopkeeper would have dealt her request to her satisfaction.

即便是个white,她再增白几次也没有用。白人得到夏女士这个下场的不是没有。

可能是夏女士讲了普通话,普通英语可能不好,更不会说粤语所至。

有一次在TOYSUS买了个大件,收银员啥也没说,我们也没看发票,过了半小时,我们还在那商城里,我们想去退掉,结果服务的说是FINAL SALE,不能退,我们很奇怪,“你们的所有的牌子上没有写啊,只些ON SALE啊,人家说收据上印着个”F“,仔细看看确实有个F,没标识,没提醒,直接上个F就别想退啦,不是这一折腾我还不知道F是啥意思呢。唉,从那以后每次买大件我都要问一下,呵呵,有备无患
