what does the carcostcanada say about this car?
You may have better chance for 2011 car to get good deal if they still can find a new car for the spec you want.
If you dont know yet, (most people who is looking for a new car should know this already i guess) carcostcanada can find dealers invoice price (if you believe so) and also advise you if there's any promotion and hidden rebate program etc. From my experience, for Toyota, the invoice price is about 10% lower than the msrp, you can call their sales manager and tell him/her your offer (e.g. Invoice price+some amount of dealer profit that you think I'd reasonable) and tell them you have the invoice price from carcostcanada. Some dealer may just accept your offer. Don't forget to tell them, admin fee is included in the price you are offering.
Just my 2 cents, but for passed year new car, you might have more space to negotiate.
