Yet Keen Seniors’ Day Centre is a program of Somerset West Community Health Centre. The centre is looking for volunteers who are respectful, compassionate and patient to provide the following seniors’ services.




1. Senior Exercise Instructor

[FONT=&quot]● [/FONT]Requirements: experience of teaching senior exercise. No language requirement

[FONT=&quot]● [/FONT]Time: Every Monday



2. ESL Instructor

[FONT=&quot]● [/FONT]Requirements: teach basic English in a relax and fun environment, focus on conversational.

[FONT=&quot]● [/FONT]Ability to speak Cantonese and/ or Mandarin is required

[FONT=&quot]● [/FONT]Time: Every Tuesday



3. Mandarin Class Instructor


[FONT=&quot]● [/FONT][FONT=&quot] Requirements: teach basic mandarin, focus on conversational[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]● Ability to speak Cantonese is a bonus[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]● [/FONT][FONT=&quot] Time: Every Tuesday[/FONT]



[FONT=&quot]Line Dance and Ballroom Dance Instructors[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot] ● Requirements: experience of teaching line dance or ballroom dance [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]●[/FONT][FONT=&quot] No language requirement[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot] ● Time: Every Monday and Wednesday (for line dance)[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot] Every Thursday (for ball room dance)[/FONT]



[FONT=&quot]Kitchen Helper[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot] ● Requirement: Assist with food preparation, set up tables and clean up[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot] ● Time: Every Tuesday and Thursday[/FONT]



[FONT=&quot]Outreach ( This opportunity is ideal for students with health science and social work background)[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot] ● Requirement: must be able to speak Cantonese and/or Mandarin[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot] ● Responsibilities: -accompany seniors to medical appointments and provide c[/FONT][FONT=&quot]ultural interpretation[/FONT]
