这是他们的什么collective agreement，前面说employees，后面用appointments。

下面的条款用了a series of continuing appointments。

这有点像那个＂逗号协议＂了，容易有争议。

如果孕妇正常体检额外给半天，其他算病假，也说得通。这对纳税人来说，似乎更合理。

规则是没有问题的. 问题是出在那些变态的SUPERVISORS身上. 他/她们觉得有什么看不顺眼了, 就没事儿找事儿了.

建议这事儿悠着点处理，多问问你们部门其他有过类似经历的人。

怀孕其间例行体检每次可以休半天 (3.75 hours)，不需要请病假。

有的HR Advisor又蠢又笨，虽然如此，我不建议你现在就把你的Union Representative牵涉近来，否则你和你老板的关系就不好弄了 (None of the supervisors and managers wants to deal with the union. When the union is involved, your supervisor has to keep his/her boss in the loop, blah, blah, blah, ... things will get unnecessarily complicated and this is not good for you either)。

建议你咨询一下HR advisor的老板 (most likely an HR Team leader)，请他澄清。最好当面问一下the HR Team Leader，然后请他发个邮件就好了。

这样你，你的老板， 你的老板的老板，都把这个又蠢又笨的责任归到原来的HR Advisor 头上。你和老板的关系保持融洽。

工作要认真，假期的使用要灵活。比如这种检查，跟老板打声招呼就行了，老板说你用病假你再用，老板不说，你自己担心什么呢。

要是有人在TBS工作，帮忙解答一下。

比如你脚伤了，请假去看大夫(1)，大夫让你去看physio，然后你请假去看physio(2)，physiotherapist先给你做了一次assessment，然后告诉你以后每周来两次(3)。这里的(1)和(2)都是doctor appointment，但是以后的(3)就应该是sick leave.
