The number of housing starts jumped significantly in April as the Ottawa market showed signs of shaking off a slow beginning to 2013.

Starts in Ottawa jumped to 515 in April, according to the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp., up 14.4 per cent from the 441 recorded in the same period a year earlier.

The increase came mostly as a result of multiple unit dwellings, with single-detached units falling from 167 in 2012 to 121 last month.

“Condominium apartment starts led the growth for the second straight month this year, while

single-detached home construction continued to moderate and move into the outskirts of the city,” said Sandra Perez Torres, senior market analyst for the region, in a statement.

8过,去年一list 90万的房子不久前靠80万成交了.

我不看统计数据，只观察周围的行情。。最近房子走的是真快。。

朋友的第一个OPEN HOUSE就拿了MULTIPLE OFFERS。。另一同房型听说连OPEN HOUSE都没来的及做就出去了。。。

俺家对面邻居挂牌一星期agent还按承诺摆架势给整了个open house，招来不少溜房的，其实那天买家的inspection已经做完了
