＂CHINESE NEW YEAR IN KANATA
Nearly 10% of the residents in Kanata North are of Chinese descent so it is fitting that the Chinese New Year (Year of the Horse) will be celebrated here. A fabulous afternoon of entertainment, feasting and visiting exhibits will be held at the Richcraft Recreation Complex Kanata on Sunday, February 2nd from 11 am to 4 pm. Entrance is $5. It’s a great and fun filled way to meet and support your Chinese neighbours. I’ll be there!＂
