Look at the Canadian women hockey team, they show their strength until the last 50 seconds to tie the game up.

They never give up. No excuse.

I don't disagree with you. But read what you said 2nd floor?

You can be a good winner and you can be a good loser.

"We didn't show up," U.S. forward Max Pacioretty said. "We let our country down; that's it."

"Did not show up" means they were not at the best as they could be, but does not mean they did not try hard.

:rolleyes::monster:
:evil:

"Did not show up" means they were not at the best as they could be, but does not mean they did not try hard.

:good::good:

In that sentence, the phrase "show up" means "to expose or reveal the true character or nature of".
