怎么定义这个 “自然灾害” ， 里头的花样可多了。和平时期，960万平方公里的土地上，十几个省同时大面积遭受自然灾害，时间长达三年，可以上地质历史了吧，至少也能上吉利丝世界记录了。
我党当时就是土包子一个， 就只有两点好： 一个是肯抱着斯大林喊爸爸， 另一个就是琢磨这种文字花样手段百出。
前几天和父母通电话问了几句饥荒年代的事。希望不要在这里争吵。希望大家都问问老人，把得到的饥荒年代的情况真实地记录在这里，为这段历史不被抹去做一点事。

As the ruler of the Japanese Empire, Emperor Hirohito was responsible for atrocious crimes against humanity and genocide of millions of Chinese, Indonesian, Korean, Filipino and Indochinese citizens.

沈阳市没有听说饿死人。因为每个城里人都有20多斤的苞米面口粮，虽然吃不饱没营养但是不至于饿死。
沈阳人有到本溪挖河泥吃的。河泥就是烂树叶烂草在水下腐烂的沉淀物，里面多多少少有一点能量，所以也是有些水生动物的食物。挖来的河泥与苞米面和在一起蒸窝头吃。
我们家没有去挖河泥吃。我父亲从收获过的庄稼地里拣来苞米杆叶，回来放火碱水煮软，然后捞出来洗洗放到苞米面里面充粮食。
我父母听说老家附近有人饿死。我父母老家是山东临沂诸葛庄。附近的村庄有人饿死，最惨的时候一天饿死28人。饿死人的原因就是都去搞大跃进大食堂大炼钢铁，不让耕种，不让收获，粮食烂到地里，最后只有挨饿。我老爷（外公）有一个朋友因为天天没有粮食吃，天天吃麦苗煮水，最后不堪饥饿上吊而死。
等大概1961年情况好转，沈阳市有吃撑死的，山东老家吃撑死的比沈阳更多一些。因为长期挨饿营养不良，胃肠都变细了，胃肠功能也弱了，稍微多吃一点就可能撑死。
其他省不知道，山东在这三年的确是自然条件非常不利。我父母都亲身经历过。
至于说人祸，我后来很少跟父母辈争论这个人。两代人经历不同，视角不同，改变对方的观点不是一件容易事情（也未必是件有多大意义的事情）。
打个可能不恰当的比方，前段时间偶然在油管上看到小虎队的演出，据说我们小学同学聚会也大唱小虎对来着。对我们这代人来说，这是我们的青涩记忆。对父母那代人来说，他们对于青春的回忆，是跟毛太祖紧密相连的。不是每个人都能有strength去完全否定自己的青春岁月。

夹边沟，地名，位于中国甘肃省酒泉市境内巴丹吉林沙漠边缘，这里曾经有一个劳改农场。1957年10月至1960年底，近3千名右派分子被关押在这里劳动改造。恰逢中国大饥荒，粮食产量急剧减少，造成约1500人因饥饿而死亡。中国作家杨显惠著有《夹边沟记事》一书，专题纪录这段悲惨的历史。2010年9月6日，中国导演王兵根据小说《告别夹边沟》改编的电影“夹边沟”上映。
