My friend bought one but only went there once for 2-3 days. I do not know what happen.
I have seen people re-sell it for $4,000-$5,000.
The question is "do you really like to go there and stay for a week every year?"
Just think about that each unit will give the owner/seller about $1 million for something costing about $100K. If money is not the issue and you like the place, you could do it.

Timeshare is for super rich? Nooo... time share is for people can not afford a real cottage.
It is a physical property with deeds so it is permanent thing comparing to a trip. Even though you end up paying similar... little like renting or own a condo.
Timeshare is always tricky. You should do some investigation and only get those ones truly have reputation of being delux resort.... Otherwise most of them are basically like marketing community like Am-way.
Another way is to create your own timeshare. Like buying a real cottage with relative(s) or really good friend (I mean you guys gonna be really compatible and committed for 5+ years)
