This is an overview of our arrangement with all of the units in view on a cloudy day. In this light, I would say that the most readable were in descending order: (1) iWay 500, (1) StreetPilot 2610, (1) Cobra NavOne, (2) Magellan RM300, (3) Garmin c320, (4) TomTom Go.

It is getting on toward dusk and the iWay 500 is very readable and the c320 is more difficult to see. ALL instruments are set to maximum brightness.

Something to note. All GPS in Canada are basically sharing the same map, so even if you buy a $3k one, it won't give you more updated streets. However, more expensive one will have easier input (touch screen) so you can enter your location address easier. Also more expensive one will calculate the route faster. Say if you make a wrong turn, it can recaculate your new route faster otherwise you will keep going the wrong way while waiting for the new route. I personally don't think color and screen is a matter since you won't have much time to look at it anyways.
