我想纠正一下楼上的老板, if you assume that STD是相互性的, that means you have a STD and your sexual partner also has a STD. So without protected sex, you pass yours to her and she passes hers to you. However, most of the time, it is only one partner that has a STD or STDs. In that case, STD is one way street, going from the STD carrier to the non-carrier. The use of a condom is not a selfish thing. Only you appear to make it to seem so. Your assumption is you are clean while your partner is not.

还有我想纠正一下楼上的老板, condom is about 92% if CORRECTLY used. If not, it is about 56% effective. To avoid 意外怀孕给妇女造成的痛苦, no sex is the best way to go. No sex is the safest sex.

If statistics does not change, in US, the majority of HIV carriers are these two groups of men/women. Spread between man and woman accounts for less than those two groups.
