Nothing is not debatable. Some truth for you may not be true for other people. It is science(not religions) which has helped people understand nature and universe more. Also it is science which reduces the influences of religions.

Well, as i said before, there are two kinds of religions: one is religion and the other is the truth.

While the truth is not debatable, our understanding to the truth is always evolving. This is why we having been witnessing all kinds of opinions surrounding God, God's creation, and God's salvation in our society.

By the way, "our society" refers to the society we live in right here, right now. It is not the society where "although we do not know how human are originated, we should believe (in the) science (that claims it has decoded how human are originated) but not religion" is a government policy. ^^

Any science(if you know some) is based on some assumptions which can be fictions(allowed). Anything wrong with it? Hollywood or you can make a lot too. Unfortunately, nobody will think they will be sciences. Are some holy books not fictions? How many have been proved by sciences?

Darvin's theory is a fiction, not science. Hollywood could be able to fabricate a lot more such fictions.

Here we are. What's your definition of science?

I am not talking about "some truth". I am talking about "THE truth", the ultimate truth.

Well, billions of people do not know this. Good for you while you have one.

If you missed the school, go back to adult school and learn some. It is too bad that you do not know science and are discussing with me about it. BTW, sciences do not serve any specific religion. If you do not need them, you may not want to know them.

Well, as our Chair mao once said, the truth is often in the hands of the few. ^^

Hehe, I happen to be one of these so-called "scientists" who took all the schoolings just enough to be brainwashed to the extent of "permanent head damage". I have sure been instilled with a definition of “science”. Nevertheless, I am still quite curious about YOUR definition of this nice little (well, big) word.

Well, if a "scientific theory", for instance, the evolution of species, is based on what you believe (your faith), then it is religion but not science.

I do not have any interest in arguing with you. But I do not believe that belief is religion. There is always something not religion, not God and not Jesus.

Unlucky you. "permanent head damage" may be the reason why you messed science and religion up. That could be the reason why you could enjoy what you learned from Mao while you dived into religion. Not all of us got the same problem.

Good luck to you then. ^^

the truth in the mind of a few (about 11,848) christian.

Well, the truth is often in the hands of the few. ^^
SO, LET'S NOT FIGHT ON EACH OTHER PLEASE, THOSE ARE TWO DIFFERENT TRUTH. WE COULD HAVE AND WE VERY MUCH WANT BOTH OF THAT!!

the clergy letter from American Christian clergy
An Open Letter Concerning Religion and Science:

Within the community of Christian believers there are areas of dispute and disagreement, including the proper way to interpret Holy Scripture. While virtually all Christians take the Bible seriously and hold it to be authoritative in matters of faith and practice, the overwhelming majority do not read the Bible literally, as they would a science textbook. Many of the beloved stories found in the Bible -- the Creation, Adam and Eve, Noah and the ark -- convey timeless truths about God, human beings, and the proper relationship between Creator and creation expressed in the only form capable of transmitting these truths from generation to generation. Religious truth is of a different order from scientific truth. Its purpose is not to convey scientific information but to transform hearts.
We the undersigned, Christian clergy from many different traditions, believe that the timeless truths of the Bible and the discoveries of modern science may comfortably coexist. We believe that the theory of evolution is a foundational scientific truth, one that has stood up to rigorous scrutiny and upon which much of human knowledge and achievement rests. To reject this truth or to treat it as "one theory among others" is to deliberately embrace scientific ignorance and transmit such ignorance to our children. We believe that among God's good gifts are human minds capable of critical thought and that the failure to fully employ this gift is a rejection of the will of our Creator. To argue that God's loving plan of salvation for humanity precludes the full employment of the God-given faculty of reason is to attempt to limit God, an act of hubris. We urge school board members to preserve the integrity of the science curriculum by affirming the teaching of the theory of evolution as a core component of human knowledge. We ask that science remain science and that religion remain religion, two very different, but complementary, forms of truth.

SO?
