如果真是"天天"停你家前面，打电话叫拖车。

next time check if his car is within 1.5m of your driveway, then give him a warning. usually people don't know this rule clearly and can easily get the ticket!

我同时不认为我有法律义务给他洗车（关键是网上没有人给我这方面的知识，只好认为如此了）或支付洗车费，所以也就免了！

人的行为有多个层次. 尽法律义务是最低层次. 更高层次讲情和理, 也就是道德层次. 道德是没有法庭的.

你把人的车弄脏, 认为他有错, 并拒绝弥补自己的行为过失. 你的行为把自己置于和邻居同一个低层次.

如果我是你, 我会先弥补自己的行为过失. 然后再有理, 有利, 有节地同邻居解决停车问题.

Yesterday I was planning to mow our lawn, but your car (black Honda Civic) park just beside our front yard, I waited for a very long time and your car was still there.

Since I didn’t know whose car it is, I couldn’t tell the owner to drive it away and I couldn’t wait any more. During mowing the lawn, it was very hard to avoid getting grass on your car even though I already paid attention to it.

Actually by law your car shouldn’t park beside other people’s yard for more than 3 hours. I notice your car always park beside my yard for a very long time, this already gave us many inconveniences but I didn’t call the city to tow it away.

In order to avoid unnecessary trouble in the future, I hope you don’t park your car in front of our yard.

Your short message is noticed. I regret that I may have unavoidably spread some grass clippings onto your car while I was mowing my lawn Yesterday. As compensation, I would be happy to clean those grass clippings on your car with my garden hose if you think it is necessary.

Although your need to park your car temporarily on the street is understandable, continuous use of the street as your parking space for longer than three hours from 7:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m is prohibited according to subsection 18 (2) of the Traffic and Parking BY-LAW NO. 2003-530 of Ottawa.

While I will try my best to mow my lawn during the absence of your car on the street, I cannot guaranty that such similar incident will not happen again if you continuously park your car on the same spot for a long period of time.

LZ做的对,正所谓"以德报怨,何以报德."LZ做到了"以直报怨",符合孔老夫子的道德标准.原本信的措辞并无法律和道德上的疏漏.LZ无须答应对方由于自身行为不当而自食其果,却反而倒打一耙的无理要求.邻里关系固然重要,但是必须通过双方平等真诚共同努力.希望LZ的邻居只是不了解相关法规而不是故意为之.

这里应该有个责任分离的问题.

责任一, 邻居即使违章停车, 惩罚违章停车不是LZ份内的事. 在这里"以直报怨"是越权执法.

责任二, LZ可以不把车弄脏,却选择把车弄脏, 应该有一个说法. 这里不是"以德报怨", 而是"将功补过".
