ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for performing inspections as required by the customer.


REPORTING STRUCTURE
This position reports to the Inspection Body Manager.


EXAMPLES OF WORK
Listed examples are illustrative and representative of the tasks required of this position and are not intended to be complete or exclusive.

· Conducting CSA SPE 1000 inspections in the field under the direction of senior inspection staff
· Maintaining technical requirements of the program
· Maintaining technical consistency for the inspections performed
· Knowledge of the applicable installation requirements for the type of equipment inspected to CEC Part 1
· Documentation of inspections as required to meet the minimum requirements of Intertek’s SI program
· Proficient use of the required test equipment
· The ability to provide sound judgement in the inspection process
· Perform other work as required


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Educational Requirement; Education required to apply and gain entry into ASTT or APEG
• Minimum Years Experience: A minimum of two years in a ISO 17020 accredited program.
• Excellent understanding working with CSA SPE 1000, other applicable standards and technical requirements of Intertek’s SI program
