[问题] 如何与MINTO等builder讲价？请指教

据说，minto是犹太人的公司，也就是说，他们从来都是肥水不流外人田。给我们做地毯的那家人说，谁也别想从minto接活儿，因为他们的地毯地板都是自家表兄专门开的公司挣他们家的一揽子买卖的。
不知道是不是真的，不过，价钱是没商量的，也就宰咱没商量的。

一定是westbro，我的亲身经验。

有能力有劲自己装修当然是最好的办法。但恐怕有不少象渐渐这样全是拇指的，只好让builder宰了。

Did you request anything specific about waterproof (include foundation) from builders? I heard that mold is common in houses over 20 years because the initial waterproof is not good enough. and mold can cause the insurance company cancel the policy.

如果你要买二手房，这是个问题，现在盖新房子都要按新标准，保险公司能挑剔，你就能退房。

对了，其实framing时的upgrade也挺重要，但很多人因为看不到也没想到。
比如渐渐就后悔没有在没个房间装电话和cable接口。

cable就是要看电视和上网用的。猫窝的电话接口全是RJ-45。但接口数量受IBM control box的限制。
不过如果你要完全无线的话倒也无所谓。

I am not sure what my friend do, but I know he pu1 xian4 for 1Gbit high speed internet, so in the future, he do not have to upgrade.

builder will give you 1 day for that before the build finish.

if you ask builder do that, cost too much

哈哈，那肯定不是什么正规的公司干的，
因为走线是要检查验收的，别人自己走线，没有certified 的人干的活，是不会验收过的，换句话说，这种活儿你不给builder干，那谁也别想在交房前干

I forget the builder name, but it is big one.
I mean 走线 is form entrance to all rest rooms,(usually they just make 2 or 3 room?)

别买minto了，那家公司特别黑。

I totally agree. Minto home have really poor construction. My 3 year old home is already falling apart!

minto的电灯开关是一个小不点，难看得要命，upgrade也不便宜，可能要五六百。
