漏掉了 West Carleton Seconday School, rank 45/722. 这个学校在KANATA NORTH, 是KANATA NORTH (包括MORGAN'S GRANT)的孩子的HOME SCHOOL. 前面好几年排名都比EARL OF MARCH好，和LISGAR 差不多的，就2008-2009掉下来了，

Top Great Schools: top 5% (schools within ~36 rating)
Excellent Schools: top 15% (schools within ~37-108 rating)
Very good Schools: top 25% (schools within ~109-190 rating)
Good Schools: top 40% (schools within ~191-288 rating)
Average+- Schools: top 60% (schools within ~288-432 rating)
Inferior Schools: bottom 40% (schools within ~433-576 rating)
Worst Schools: bottom 20% (schools within ~577-720 rating)

Having a kid in a top great school is "dream-coming-true", like you win 6/7 in lottery.
Having a kid in an excellent school is "happy & satisfactory", like a 100+K/yr job.
Having a kid in a very-good school is "very acceptable", like a normal spouse.

那我们巴屯也是潜力股啊，有John McCrae Secondary School顶着呢

巴屯没问题的，我们这的学校MFI因为有部分巴屯的学生过来，成绩一直看涨，我觉得是巴屯的功劳，因为附近都是成熟社区，居民变化不大。

Does IB program offers in l too?

Not in elementary school, only in high school.

简单说， IB 的孩子不敢瞎玩了，gifted 还有玩的时间。

IB 比较Tough，如果孩子优秀，又喜欢挑战，很好，有些喜欢享乐，可能拿不下来IB文凭。

IB 今年竞争尤其激烈，听说Lisgar对外的80多人的指标没了， 成绩好的学生都往Colonel By 的IB挤， 参加考试的有5， 6百人最后只招160人。庆幸，我家老大最后还是挤进去了。

160/450..利害真考进去的没有读不出来的,里面学习氛为就不一样!

一直都这样。 很多人是因为路途遥远放弃了。 试想一下， 每天孩子在公汽上呆3个小时， 值吗？

我也是这样想的。三个小时，可以干多少事情啊。每天在路上跑３小时，我简直不敢想象。
