When Ignatief was asked about coalition, his response was like "the party has the most seats could try (to form a government) FIRST". I found that very interesting.

这次辩论总的来说四平八稳，对选情不会有很大的影响。但哈博表现稳重诚恳，抓住所有的机会宣扬保守党的政绩政策，巩固了已有优势，应该说小有斩获。新民党在和自由党的竞争中亦小有所获。自由党Ignatief表现不佳。重复太多，并且在林登挑战他的议会出席率时居然一时语塞。

经此一役，我更看好保守党多数政府并且估计新民党和自由党的差距会拉近。

Duceppe's first assault was a direct and effective one and therefore an excellent starter, which could have set the tone for the discussion in a way very negative to the government. Fortunately, Harper was able to channel the discussion back to the government's outstanding records in managing the Canadian economy in the context of the world financial crisis right way and stay firmly there in the entire debate. Not an easy job.

My understanding is that there are 6 questions/segments and 6 combinations of different pairs. Each pair was given the chance to respond first to one question, followed by a four way debate. The arrangement allowed each candidate to have the opportunity to be the first and second responser to one question. At the end, each candidate was given the chance to have a 45-second conclusion remarks. I believe the sequence and questions in each category was randomly chosen. So Harper had the same quote of time as everybody else in theory.

The question is, he was the primary target of everybody else and was attacked when other pairs were supposed to be debating one-on-one. In such cases, he didn't even have the opportunity to respond!

这次选举，保守党少数政府的机会将会是60%，联合组阁40%，在这两种情况下，哈珀都是输家，只是大输小输的问题。大输他将被迫辞去党领，小输叶礼庭将辞去党领，林顿出于健康原因，也得考虑接班人了，魁党将依然如故。不论如何，加拿大政坛将改天换日，有得瞧了

反正5月2日也不远，拭目以待好了

这次辩论,呵呵, 这么明显的事, 咱们这里反映出來的还是那么好笑的投票

有人说美化哈勃, 都是政治人物又不是美女,用得着美化吗, 这几年加拿大经济搞得不错就是形势比人强 还有什么东东比选票更能代表民意呢
