I am not sure about the zoning of high school. You get Earl of March in Kanata Lake but Katimavik is probably out of bound.
Not sure what range of price you are looking at. You may find proper ones in Heritage Hill area (the areas on the other side of Kanata Avenue).
A friend of mine used to tell me. Once one drove on Knudson, one felt very comfortable. Once drove on other avenues, one couldn't get the same feeling. Since one is driving in and out everyday, this sense of comfort is probably worth the price ...

Main reason schools in Kanata lake ranks ahead is because of parents. If you live in Kanata areas with young children, you will notice all programs, swimming, music etc, are very difficult to register. Commitment by parents is the chief reason.
On student population, majority is still local students. It is not true that the ranking is biased by minority students from China or India.
By the way, I never understand why Chinese doesn't like to live with Chinese. I am not accusing or pointing fingers. Just curious ...
As to primary school ranking, Katimavick is still ahead. Followed by Stephen Leacock and AY Johnston. Other schools are probably mediocre.
Again, there is nothing special with Stephen Leacock etc. It is the expectation from parents that make students want to study ....
孩子的英语不用担心, 在这受教育的, 无论是人品, 价值观, 还是英语, 都不要担心, 绝对比父母一代强太多太多了.

有一点Ta 说错了 why Chinese doesn't like to live with Chinese. 我不是讲Ta 语法, 是讲事实错误. 中国人其实很喜欢和中国人住一起的, 看看center point 和 Kanata china lake 就知道了. 我上次去china lake BBQ, 一条街就街口是印度人家, 其他全是中国人家啊
我住的小区也是中国人越来越多, 原因是老外卖房子走了, 老外来这区看看基本不会买这区房子, 老中来看看就买了看一个区中国人是否多, 看门前草地和小花园就知道了

If you want to get a sense who might be interested in houses in an area, say Kanata Lake, just go to an open house event when the house is on sale.
Visitors to the open house normally register their names on a piece of paper. If you visit the open house towards the end, you get the chance to see all the names of the visitors. You may judge by last names on the racial profile of all the visitors of that day.
If you go to enough number of open houses in an area, you will get an idea of racial profile of potential buyers of houses in the area.
This is a more quantitative way of evaluating if it is true that all locals are leaving your areas due to minority move-in ...
