挺好的价格,还有厂家的$500额外回扣(俺本人没参加, 不知最后能否拿到), 比去年2月之前安装的还合算.

以目前的情况，这个价格不可接受。你应该可以比此略低的价格，买到含温控器、10年人工零件保修的。俺觉得你还是快联系CFC的VIP Group Buy团购吧，是正规Dealer供货安装，没啥好顾虑的。

昨天与 Sears 的 Home Improvement Division 签了Carrier Infinity 80 Gas Furnace 58CVX 。。。

税后 $5387，2年 Master Protection Agreement，退$400 Sears gift card 或者 $300 的check，

包安装，原来的老 Carrier 与这型号的高度不一样，管道他们也负责加长。

他们的Home Improvement account 有 1% 的 cash back。18个月的 0% interest rate。而以 5%

interest rate 算，实际就是 $4585。


当然80% AFUE 应该不太适合渥太华，但是个人觉得 Sears 的 Home Improvement Division 不错。大家

老大的潇洒和深邃，老实说俺是被吓到了。本来还怕人伤心，现在看来是多余的，索性敞开了说。
查了一下，介个Carrier 80% Furnace，开宗明义是定位于想省点钱的用户, 合理推断就是质量不高. 问题是花$4585(不考虑实付$5087!!!), 居然比购买高端产品都贵好几百，还只得2年全保修(人家的是10年).
因为不是高效炉, 政府的补助就没有了. 理论上, 热效率低18%, 一年大概要多花1200*18%=$216. 多烧了煤气, 那么就多了噪音, 多了废气, 少了氧气, 对自己对社会的健康都是不好的.
当然, 您既然选择了也一定有您的道理. 俺能想到和举例的就是：
1）包工头为业主打理，按发票报销；
2）旧屋主卖房，新屋主看数；
3）沙特居民，煤气几乎免费，鼓励多烧免得跑走污染环境；
4）俺是推销员，讲得越天花乱坠、用户越不买账。

这儿，13 therms per month 是 baseline ($0.81 per therm)，baseline 以上的是$1.058。算 $1.87 per therm 好了。

这边一般 gas usage during winter: 45~60 therm，平均40%是 furnace占用，一年要用到3 ~ 4月。

1>. 45 x 40% x 4 x $1.87 = $134.6 per year
2>. 60 x 40% x 4 x $1.87 = $179.52 per year

如果 95% 和 80% AFUE 的差价税后有 $1400 吧。那就是说，在这边，95% AFUE 的furnace 要花上 10年又4个月，到7年

又9个月，才能开始有赚头! 当然，渥太华一年的 gas furnace usage 可能高达 600~700 therm per year。用不到3 years 就

break-even。而 gas usage 在两者的差异上，应该有100 therm per year。 到第4个年尾，一年$187 就省下来了。所以，您

有 您的道理。






之所以选 sears 的个人原因是，这冬天到下个夏天，只想花 $4500 ~ $5000 解决 furnace 和 air conditioning。Sears

的报价不是最底的，也不是最高的，但是，1>。有了18个月的 0% interest rate，2>。也鉴于近期资本市场的回报率，

3>。与及自身承担来自那些市场波动的风险的能力。。。所以，每月付$299.28 给sears，等于向 sears 借钱，给人一个

投资机会。绝不是什么潇洒和深邃的老大，就一抠门小朋友!

顺便说，像高效能热水炉，市场上也是非常的忽悠：每月租金$40多，比普通的贵$30，可用气也就$10几块。
当然，对于暖气炉，俺还是简单坚持要使用高效的。如果有经济上的失策，那也是生产厂家和商家的暗算造成的。暖气炉跟其它家庭电器相比是贵得离谱，表面做工粗燥，半工半休还时不时有故障，而价格却顶其它5大件的总和！
