For this topic continually generate much interest. I feel I can’t help but to give my 2 cents.

When it comes to racism, I think we are all guilty of it in one way or the other, for example myself I always believed that Chinese have higher IQ than the rest, from the study I read. Is that true or is that I choose to believe is true?

I have been lived in Canada for over 20 years, over 50% of my life I have lived here; I say Canada is one of the least racist’s country in the world, on the same scale with New Zealand. Because Canada is a multi culture country, it’s a country of immigrates. I can’t say there aren’t someone who holds a negative view on immigrates. We should give them the right to speak their mind, not too long ago I did a survey on CFC, of if we want more Chinese come to Ottawa, if I remember it right, 50% of the Chinese who are living in Ottawa, prefer to have less Chinese immigrates. Then why do we all get on arms when someone else says they want less Immigrates?

As for every 1 person who is racist, there are 10 that’s not. We should voice our opinion when we see the sign of racism. Don’t get bitter, keep in mind; you are not alone, and most Canadians are friends of yours, they are on your side. You are the majority and not the minority.

Agree with your sentiment. One of my friends whom I admire has done so much in the Chinese community in Toronto and has also tried to bridge the gap with the rest. I can't match him in terms of perseverance or energy. I need to jump into his bandwagon more. We need more people like him.

同意terry890的观点，我们在抗议racism倾向的同时，应该多多看到加拿大社会健康的一面，做一个文明社会的建设者。

In the eyes of the white people, all oriental looking people are the same, regardless of what your ethnicity and where you were born, and what language you speak. When the Japanese was interned in WWII, every single ethnic Japanese was rounded up regardless of whether they were born in Japan or Canada/US, and whether they were considered assimilated or not. I know for a fact that Japanese Canadians/Americans do not segregate along generational lines, probably because they have learned it the hard way. Unlike the Chinese, even mixed blood Japanese people who do not speak Japanese get along very well with new immigrants from Japan (not many of them now). It is just incredible.

Like I said, the British and French were here first. Canadian History IS British and French History - you can't have one without the other FOOL. The British and French did not come by military force and not ALL of the land was settled by natives. They came through exploration, God I see you know NOTHING about the world. YOU'RE THE ONE HIDING FROM REALITY, don't comfort yourself by making up stupid lies and believing them. Oh and I got into UOFT and graduated. And no I am not an animal nor do I breed like one, and nor do I eat cats, dogs or fried grasshoppers.

Believe me, I got my education at UOFT.. sadly. It's a money hungry school full of immigrants. But like you Asians are saying, it's a competition right? 上海歧视可能是中国最重的地方,歧视外地人,歧视祖籍是苏北的上海人,歧视住在所谓下只角的上海人,也歧视黑人:blink::blink::blink:

This loser sounds a lot like a Ottawa local radio show host. Both of them are obviously panic of "white"s losing domination in this country. I feel sorry for them. They are still not fully civilized, maybe becasue of constrains of their brain capacity.
