我当初找家庭\医生时，考虑到一旦有病，如果又很难用英语想医生讲清楚的话，
会误事的，因此特想找一个会讲普通话的家庭医生，碰巧偶然知道了DR。CHAN
她的办公室在CARING AVE上，于是就去了，正巧她还可以收病人。第一次去总体还好，虽然觉得她有些罗唆。：)
可是后来就有了不同的看法。
1> 她一直声称自己非常忙，说看病最好先预约，可是每次打电话都没人接，只好留言，说明自己的大概问题，想预约等等，可是却绝对不会有回复。：(
这种情况出现几次。
2>后来去过过几次，总觉得她看病不着边际，没有重点，绝对象个庸医。
3>约一个月前，有一次实在不耐烦，就直接去了，接过她还不高兴，说要预约等等，于是对她讲，一周前就给她留言。几次，却一直没答复。结果她还有了理，提高嗓门儿一阵屁话。
类似的事实在让我觉得不高兴，于是想换一个家庭医生，但是新闻上总说加国家庭医生缺，是不是所有家庭医生都这德性？你们的家庭医生是这样吗？
是否有好的推荐，如果在KANATA则更好。谢谢！
I have the similar expereince with the doctors, not with yours though. I don't know whether there are good family doctors who only speak English, but for those who can speak Mandrian. You don't have much choice though. They were already piled up with tons of patients and the waiting time is very long for each visit (one to two hours are normal). However, I had never expereinced not replying phone calls. As for their skills ,it's the system in Canada caused all this, they may know a little bit everything but not deep in everything and it's very hard to get a chance to see the specialist as you have to get refer from your family physician and even they allow to refer you there, the appointment will be months ahead.
It's this stupid universal medical system in Canada causing this as there is less competition and when you get sick, even you want to pay the money to get it treated quick, you are not allowed to do so. I just wonder what's the purpose of this system: not treating people in a immediate way, but let the sickness develop into some severe one to cause more pain to people and more money to the system.
Anyway ,that's something I don't think can be easily resolved in this country.
I suggest that who operates this website should setup a
separate topic on medical as I didn't find one here but I feel that it's very important for many of our folks to seek good medical treatments here. For those who also think my suggestion is right,
please pass on this to the owner of this website. Thanks.
