<HTML>When I asked Citizenship and Immigration Canada call center regarding the eligibility of sponsoring a family member to immigrate to Canada, they told me that to sponsor a family member to immigrate, I have to, at least, work in Canada for 12 months. My case, I landed last November. As a result, I am waiting.

But from what I have been learning from this site: it seems this rule has not been so strict. Anybody can shed some light on this? I am eager to know this since I don't wanna waste 4 more months, just waiting. Thanks guys and gals.</HTML>

<HTML>usual you should wait until 12 months, unless you have earn more money than the requirement of Sponsorship and you can prove it.</HTML>
