I am not in account field, and not be qulified to one of your new friend as you said. What I can tell you is that my friends in Canada who had accounting background, 95% of them changed their career to computer software or releated and 5% of them got the accountant job in Gov. Hope this information helpful for you.

<HTML>Not absolutely right. My wife worked at a manufature company as Capital Analyst, before this job, she worked as Cost Analyst. She worked as Accountant before in China and She knew several others who also worked in Accountant field. Why you said the other 5% worked for Gov. Everything depends on your luck, qualification and confidence, especially communication skills.</HTML>
